What is the child visa renewal process in Dubai?

The type of sponsor and the person sponsored decides the validity of the child’s visa. The validity of the child’s visa in the UAE can be one, two, or three years. The renewal of the child visa UAE is subject to conditions similar to those of fresh visas. The child’s UAE residence permit is linked to his/her sponsor’s residence permit. Therefore, if the sponsor’s UAE residence visa is canceled, the dependent or child’s visa also must be canceled. Dependents receive a 30-day grace period from the date of expiry or cancellation of their visa to acquire a new residence permit. If the sponsor fails to renew or cancel the visa of his child within the grace period, the child would be deemed an illegal resident and could be liable to pay a fine. The child visa renewal Dubai process remains the same as the process of fresh visa issuance, and the sponsor is required to produce the same documents. The child visa renewal Dubai fees and requirements also remain the same.
